AmaZulu have quickly plunged into the transfer market in finding replacements for the mass departures at the club.
Usuthu will return for the new season minus Augustine Mulenga, Junior Dion, Boniface Haba, Ethan Brooks, Veli Mothwa, Andile Mbanjwa, Abbubaker Mobara, Sandile Khumalo, Mbongeni Gumede, Kwanda Mngonyama, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Thembela Sikhakhane, Wayde Jooste, Skhulile Manyoni, Rowan Human, and Msindisi Kunene.

The pair of Etiosa Ighodaro and Sifiso Ngobeni will not be staying after the expiry of their loan deals and have returned to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Several of those not returning are forwards and include Mulenga, Dion, Haba, and Ighodaro.
Considering these departures, Usuthu have snatched Keagile Malepe from Motsepe Foundation Championship club Pretoria Callies.
Malepe is a striker and moves after only a season at Callies where he was impressive upfront.
The 21-year-old is the fourth transfer done by Callies in this window to date.
Saketso Moremi, Keorapetse Sebone, and Mpho Mavundlela have all moved to Polokwane City.
All the transfers have been confirmed by Callies chairman Moses Malada.
"Malepe joined us last season from an amateur club, but we have now done a transfer deal with AmaZulu," says Malada.

"The other three boys have gone to Polokwane, and these were all transfer deals.
"With us it is about continuing giving players a chance and opening career growth possibilities," says Malada.
