With Mamelodi Sundowns next on Borussia Dortmund's agenda, it has reportedly been revealed how much the German giants agreed to pay new signing Jobe Bellingham to secure his participation in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Dortmund are set to face Sundowns in their second Group F fixture on Saturday.
There is a lot at stake, as the German side are looking for their first win of the tournament following a goalless draw against Fluminense in their opener.

In preparation for the Club World Cup, Dortmund made the marquee signing of Bellingham, who now follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Jude Bellingham, at the club.
The young midfielder was signed from Sunderland for a fee of €30.5 million (approximately R632 million), with the deal reportedly fast-tracked so he could join in time to play in the current Club World Cup.
It took a sizeable salary package to convince the 19-year-old to swiftly sign for the Bundesliga outfit and be ready to face Fluminense, Sundowns, and Ulsan HD in the group stage.
According to Capology, Bellingham’s new five-year contract is worth €3 million (approximately R62 million) per year.
This marks a significant pay increase from the reported £650,000 (R15.7 million) per year he was earning at Sunderland — the club he helped gain promotion to the 2025/26 Premier League season.
