OFFICIAL: Solskjaer lands first job since Man Utd exit

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has landed his first head coach role since leaving Manchester United four years ago.

The Norwegian has been out of action since being sacked by the Red Devils in November 2021.

However, the 56-year-old has now been unveiled as the head coach of Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.

"A contract has been signed with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the position of technical director of our professional football team until the end of the 2025-2026 season with a 1-year option for the 2026-2027 season," the club's statement read.

"We welcome Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who we believe will provide important services to our club, to the Besiktas family and wish him outstanding success."
