The 26-year-old centre-back picked up an ankle injury on August 25 during the 2-0 loss to Free State Stars.
“I seldom pick up injuries, so when it happens, I really feel strange. I hurt my ankle during in the match against Ea Lla Koto and didn’t even finish the match because of the pain.
“When I went to the physiotherapist, he advised me to get some rest and nothing else. Now he has given me the go-ahead to gradually get back into the thick of things, so I will be back at training next week,” says Sangweni.
In the two years that the Zambian has spent at Arrows, he has played 60 games. The only games that he has missed are when he was suspended, or away from Abafana Bes’thende on national duty.
In his absence, Arrows have had the pair of Zambian Billy Mwanza and Musa Bilankulu doing the job at centre-back.
