Ndlela, who is based in Emalahleni, works as a correctional officer at the government prison in Mpumalanga, a town formerly known as Witbank.
Growing up, who was your idol?
"Philemon 'Chippa' Masinga. Like him, I was a striker, so I wanted to score goals just like he did."
Is he the player you modelled your game after?
"Yes, since we are both tall, I copied everything he did. He is the player I admired the most in Mzansi."
What is your favorite PSL club?
"I grew up supporting Kaizer Chiefs. But as you turn professional, you end up supporting only the team you are playing for at that time."
Who is your favourite player in South Africa at the moment?
"At the moment, it's Relebohile Mofokeng. His development has been impressive, and he is unique."
Who is your best friend in football?
"That's a tough one. I have too many friends in football, but I can't pick just one as my best friend."
Is there anything you dislike about football?
"I dislike injuries and not being able to save money. If we had good agents, they could have helped us save some of our money for life after football."
If you were not a professional footballer, which career would you have pursued?
"I could have pursued a career in Law Enforcement. That's my passion."
