Siwelele, who were beaten 4-2 by Kaizer Chiefs in the annual friendly spectacle in 2017, will look to gain revenge at Free State Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
"I feel like it's an advert you see. In Macufe you must do it for the people of Bloemfontein," Mashikinya tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"It's something that our fans need, and a win in Macufe is just for pride. There are players that were signed but they haven't seen them you see. So they are looking forward to see players who signed but didn't get a chance to play in the league games. Again there are players who must raise their hands.
"It also gives us time because it's a FIFA week and there are players that received knocks, so they will be able to recover. But we are happy with the team that is going to play. The players that have signed with Celtic are quality, they deserve to play for Bloemfontein Celtic. So we go there with a positive mentality.
"Last season we lost it I think 4-2, and coach Steve (Komphela) was at Kaizer Chiefs. At least this time around he is here. He can provide us with the same luck that he used to beat us last season (laughing) so that we can also be able to beat them.
"The important thing is to take it serious and support those who will be playing as a family. We must encourage each other. On Sunday it's not about the individuals, it's about the team and the supporters. Yes, sometimes you become cautious as a coach to play those players who’ve already got chemistry for league games, in case they get knocks and mileage in their feet, and become fatigued.
"We only have one week to prepare for Sundowns in the Telkom (Knockout). At least in this game they have nothing to lose. They have nothing to gain, even though it is important. Victor Letsoalo didn't play at the beginning of last season, he played in Macufe and scored a brace. (Kabelo) Mahlasela in Macufe he got Man of the Match and Chiefs took him. So this game is important, it changes peoples' lives."
Kick-off is at 15h00.
