With Percy Tau's departure from Al Ahly all but confirmed, it has now been claimed that the South African recently threatened to file a complaint against the club with FIFA.
It is widely believed that Tau is edging closer to leaving Al Ahly after losing some prominence in the team under manager Marcel Koller this season.

According to reports, the South African star is set to move to Qatar, although it remains unclear where exactly he is headed, with Al-Gharafa thought to be his most likely destination.
Egyptian media figure and sports critic Abu Al-Maati Zaki now claims that Tau was left disappointed by the delay in his move to Qatar and that he threatened to take action against Al Ahly regarding the matter.
Speaking on his "Nagm Al-Gamahir" programme on YouTube with 902 000 subscribers, Zaki said: "Percy Tau was surprised by the delay in the completion of his transfer deal to Qatari club Al-Gharafa, which was supposed to be announced today.
"Al Ahly requested $700,000 (R13 million) from Al-Gharafa to approve his transfer to the Qatari club."
Zaki added: "Percy Tau has threatened to file a complaint against Al Ahly with FIFA because he is owed approximately $350,000 (R6.5 million)."
Another report by Nice Koura claims that the Bafana Bafana forward wants to sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al-Gharafa.
It is further claimed that the Qatari club has also offered to pay the player a monthly salary of $900,000 (R16.8 million).
