Matuludi is on the wanted list of both Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC.

The 25-year-old had an initial offer from Stellies rejected by Polokwane after the Cape Town-based outfit attempted to lure him to the Cape Winelands ahead of the upcoming season.

Matuludi is currently in Gqeberha with Bafana Bafana for the COSAFA Cup tournament, where Helman Mkhalele's charges are set to face Eswatini on Tuesday afternoon.

Amakhosi are believed to have already submitted an offer to Rise and Shine in an attempt to sign the player in order to bolster their squad for next term.

"Chiefs are keen to sign Thabang Matuludi. It's very interesting if Polokwane City will accept their offer for Matuludi.

"The owner of Polokwane City is a difficult person to deal with regarding the issue of selling players," said a source.

Meanwhile, the Soweto giants are expected to welcome coach Nasreddine Nabi in Naturena this week.

The Belgian-Tunisian replaces Molefi Ntseki, who was replaced by Cavin Johnson on an interim basis last season.
