Morocco head coach Walid Regragui has made a big admission about his job after the Atlas Lions were dumped out of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations by South Africa.
Bafana Bafana booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the tournament at the expense of widely perceived favourites Morocco on Tuesday night.

Goals by Evidence Makgopa and Teboho Mokoena sealed a 2-0 victory for Hugo Broos' men, who have now reached this stage of the competition for the second successive time.
While it is jubilation for Bafana, the result has cast a massive spotlight on the Atlas Lions, who made history at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in becoming the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the global showpiece little more than a year ago.
With giant killings seemingly a common theme at the 2023 AFCON, several managers whose teams failed to live up to expectations at this edition have left their roles, including the coaches of Tunisia, Ivory Coast and Algeria.
Following last night's disappointment, Morocco boss Regragui was asked about his immediate future at the team's helm – even though his contract is set to run until June 2025 – and he admitted a change could be in the offing.
"I will sit with president Faouzi Lakjaa [head of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation) to see what is in the best interest of the national team, and therefore we cannot talk about resignation here," the 48-year-old said, according to Yallakora.
Meanwhile, another huge moment in the game was midfielder Sofyan Amrabat's sending-off in injury time after he was deemed to have denied Mokoena a clear and obvious goalscoring opportunity.
With the player now set for an early return to Manchester United, a big decision regarding his future at the end of the season awaits, and a new report by TEAMtalk suggests that the Red Devils will abandon their €20 million (R405 million) option to buy Amrabat from his parent club Fiorentina in June.
