The continued absence of Khama Billiat from competitive football has prompted his former teammate Willard Katsande to issue a passionate plea for the exciting midfielder to return.
Billiat has been without a club since he left Kaizer Chiefs upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June.

The 33-year-old's five-year stint with Kaizer Chiefs came to an end after he failed to agree terms on a new deal.
Speculation has linked Billiat with a move abroad with the Middle East and Cape Town City but only trained with SuperSport United for one day early this month before returning to his 'football isolation'.
Without minutes on the field, Billiat's value on the market has dropped drastically.
"There is no way that Khama cannot play in the PSL anymore regardless of how long he has been out of action," argues Katsande.

"For me, even if Khama is not fully fit, I believe he can still do a job in the PSL for many of the teams that we have.
"Khama is a true footballer on the pitch and with his abilities on the ball can make a difference and do damage.
"I strongly believe that even a half fit Khama can still give you something tangible in attack because of how he plays and his experience.
"The PSL still needs Khama's magic and needs to come back as soon as possible.

"Some of us still strongly believe in Khama so I think he needs to hear that to remember that he remains relevant in our game.
"For Khama to play football right now, should never be about money.
"So much noise was made about money, but this is time to play football again and forget about money because it has been a while without playing for him.

"Time lost is never recovered so it is best that he comes back to play as soon as possible.
"I miss seeing Khama on the field and this is the time for him to come back," says a passionate Katsande who played with Billiat at Ajax Cape Town, Kaizer Chiefs, and the Zimbabwe national team.
