Moroka Swallows legend Owen "Rubber Doll" Da Gama says it will take some doing for the club's fixture against old rivals Kaizer Chiefs to get back to the level it used to be.
On Sunday at Dobsonville Stadium the Birds host Amakhosi in what used to be one of South Africa's biggest fixtures.
Da Gama believes only the signing of more quality players by Swallows will make this fixture big again.

"I believe Kaizer Chiefs grew very, very big and somewhere along the way Swallows got left behind," Da Gama tells KickOff.
"I played at Swallows when David Chabeli was a chairman there, and at that time Swallows were really big.
"And then Louis Luyt he invested at Swallows, he was part of us at Swallows for a year, but then Chabeli said no, he doesn't like the partnership.
"What happened is Chiefs grew bigger, and Swallows went on and sold the team to Dieter Bock, and Leon Prins...and I don't think they took the team further nose two, and then the team eventually got relegated.
"So, this Soweto derby lost a bit of spark because Swallows haven't grown the way Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have grown.
"But looking at their current squad, I think there's quality at Swallows, they are a good team.
