Blom, who left Chiefs in December to join Major League Soccer outfit St Louis City scored his first goal for his new side and a first of his professional career when The Louligans defeated Bongokuhle Hlongwane's Minnesota United 2-1 on Sunday.

After a shaky start that included fighting off a covid infection, Blom has blossomed into a key player for Bradley Carnell's newly promoted outfit. The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has made 25 appearances for City, missing just one of the side's last ten matches.
Meanwhile, his former teammate, Ngezana, who left Amakhosi for Romanian outfit FCSB also opened his goal scoring account for the Romanian champions in only his fourth start since his arrival.
The 26-year-old centre-back endured a difficult start to life in Europe but is gradually proving to be worth his weight in gold for his new side.

Another former Chiefs man on top form in Leonardo Castro, the 34-year-old was one of ten players released by Chiefs at the end of the 2021/22 season.
The striker joined USL1 side Greenville and has scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 28 appearances. Castro scored in each of his last two appearances for the third-tier outfit.

Staying in the MLS, Teenage Hadebe ranks as another former Chiefs player making waves abroad.
The Zimbabwean international was recently part of the Houston Dynamo that defeated Lionel Messi's Inter Miami to lift the US Open Cup- the oldest competition in USA soccer.
