With Paris-Germain boss Christophe Galtier unsurprisingly the highest-paid manager in France, his shock salary has now reportedly been revealed.
PSG are known to have the one of the biggest wage bills in Europe, with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar said to take up a huge chunk of their payroll.

However, it appears that being a manager at the club is also a lucrative endeavour as a newly released report on the Ligue 1's yearly salaries has revealed, according to L'Equipe.
Les Parisiens' boss pockets a tidy €665 000 (R13 million) a month, which is said to be double that of second-placed Olympique Marseille manager Igor Tudor, who is on €330 000 (R6.4 million) monthly.
Per the report, Galtier was only the sixth-best-paid coach in the division when he guided Lille to the French league title two years ago, and his salary doubled to €330 000 when he made the move to OGC Nice ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
While the 56-year-old tops the French chart by quite a distance, he earna significantly less than his predecessor at the Parc des Princes Mauricio Pochettino, who took home a steep €1.1 million (R21.5 million) a month during his year and a half in charge.
Galtier's paycheque, however, is far less than that of Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, who is still the highest-earning coach in Europe's top five leagues with a reported salary of €20 million (R392 million) annually, which equates to about €1.6 million (R32 million) monthly, according to El Periodico de Espana.
The PSG mentor is reportedly facing the risk of getting sacked at the end of the season, though, after Les Parisiens were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League at the round of 16 stage earlier this month.

Bowing out of the elite competition at the same stage is believed to have been what got Pochettino fired last season, and a similar outcome could await Galtier, with various reports in France suggesting the club is interested in hiring Zinedine Zidane ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
