With DStv Premiership teams gearing up for the resumption of domestic football, the AmaZulu camp decided to go on an outdoorsy adventure trip at the Somopho Hills in Makhwela, KwaZulu-Natal. Here's a look!
The story
The 2022 FIFA World Cup draws will draw to an exciting conclusion on Sunday 18 December when defending champions France take on a Lionel Messi-inspired Argentina for the greatest honour in the sport.
While the thrills of the tournament have kept fans excited across the globe, some local supporters are already missing domestic football as none of their players were competing in Qatar over this period.
AmaZulu have returned to training following their brief break and with the side expected to return to league action on New Year's Eve against Sekhukhune United, the team have been taking it easy in the preparations with a fun hiking, paintballing, and quad-biking excursion.

The occasion sure looked fun the the Usuthi players, who will most certainly be appreciating such an experience given that they are usually on holiday during this period of the year.
On the football side of things, the KZN outfit has quite some work to do given that they currently sit seventh on the table, languishing 11 adrift from table-toppers Mamelodi Sundowns, who also have a game in hand.
Perhaps Romain Folz's outfit will also be motivated by the fact that they reached the MTN8 final in November and narrowly lost out to winners Orlando Pirates. One of their standout performers so far has been their No.1 goalkeeper Veli Mothwa, who has already established himself as a regular member of Bafana Bafana under Hugo Broos.
Did you know?
According to the club's official website, they have 10 key sponsors, including Spar, Build It, Mitsubishi Motors, and Grindrod among others.
