His Los Blancos debut came several days earlier, in a UEFA Super Cup clash against Atalanta, during which he opened his account in a 2-0 win over the Italian side to claim his first-ever European club trophy.
His long-anticipated arrival in Madrid has been met with widespread excitement both on and off the pitch, with some of his teammates, including Jude Bellingham, having lavished the French superstar with praise.
With just two matches under his belt for Real so far, Mbappe reportedly made an important request to his new manager, but this was denied.
According to Bola VIP, Ancelotti has rejected Mbappe's request to become the club's designated free-kick-taker.
It is claimed the Italian tactician had already decided that Brazilian star Rodrygo will be responsible for taking free-kicks in the team, replacing the recently retired Toni Kroos in that set-piece specialist role.
Moreover, it is understood Mbappe will not be the designated penalty-taker at Real this season either, with that job being given to Vinicius Junior.
