While the Red Devils full-back is keen on representing England, he faces a lot of competition in Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James and Tino Livramento.
However, it is now being reported that the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have approached Wan-Bissaka about playing for them at next year's Afcon.
The United defender has received one call up from England coach Gareth Southgate, but he was forced to withdraw due to injury.
The 25-year-old is eligible to play for DRC as he is of Congolese decent, although he reportedly turned down previous attempts from nation.
The Daily Mail added that Wan-Bissaka is yet to make a final decision on the offer, but the tournament does begin on 13 January 2024.
Should Wan-Bissaka accept the offer, the Red Devils will lose another key player as goalkeeper Andre Onana and Sofyan Amrabat are representing Cameroon and Morocco respectively at the tournament.
