Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has responded to reports claiming he had a fall out with defender Raphael Varane.
The French defender was fit prior to the international break but often found himself on the bench, with the Dutch coach preferring Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans at the moment.

There have been reports claiming the pair had fallen out and Varane could be on his way out of the club in the January transfer window.
Ten Hag, however, was quick rubbish those claims and explained his selection around Varane over the past few weeks.
"I don't know what you're talking about. It's just rumours but there is internal competition," the coach said, as per Goal.
"When you have to decide between two players who are brilliant - Varane and Harry Maguire - then you have to make a choice.
"Jonny [Evans] is on his way back. He won't be available for Everton but it won't take long."
