Paris Saint-Germain have reacted to reports suggesting that owners Qatari Sports Investments are ready to "throw in the towel" and sell the club.
Earlier this week, it was claimed on Spanish television show El Chiringuito that the big-spending owners were ready to put the Ligue 1 leaders up for sale after the 2022 FIFA World Cup later this year.

This development surprised many as the club's Qatari owners have pumped more than £1.3 billion (R24 billion) into the French giants to spend on high-profile stars since their takeover in 2011, including their latest big-name acquisition Lionel Messi.
However, PSG have now moved to deny claims the club will be put up for sale.
According to French radio station RMC Sport, the club has "categorically and completely denied this fake news", and also said that "it is no coincidence that it's come from a cheap Spanish outlet".

While Les Parisiens may not be set to lose their owners after all, the club reportedly remains in disarray, with manager Mauricio Pochettino rumoured to be set to receive his marching orders within the next couple of months.
Superstar Kylian Mbappe's future also remains uncertain as his contract is due to expire at the end of this season, and while PSG are desperate to have him extend his stay at the Parc des Princes, Real Madrid remain confident they can lure the France international to Spain as a free agent.
