With Sergio Ramos' contract at Real Madrid set to expire at the end of the season, Los Blancos manager Zinedine Zidane has provided an update on his future at the club.
Ramos' current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu is set to expire on 30 June 2021, but Zidane is not concerned about losing his captain at the end of the season.
The Frenchman was speaking to the media following Real's 3-2 UEFA Champions League win over Inter Milan, in which Ramos scored his 100th goal for the club, when he revealed that he expected the 34-year-old to extend his stay in Madrid.
"I have no doubt that he will stay. He is our leader and of course, we love him forever," Zidane said, according to talkSPORT.
Ramos joined the record 34-time LaLiga champions from Sevilla in 2005 and has made 659 appearances for the club across all competitions since, the fourth most by any player in the club's history.
