FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been criticised for kicking the ball at the referee during his side's draw with Deportivo Alaves.
The Catalan giants extended their winless run in LaLiga to four matches after drawing 1-1 against Alaves, who finished the game with 10 men.

Messi's frustrations boiled over in the first half when he booted the ball in the direction of the referee, who only branded a yellow card for the player's action.
Former LaLiga referee Juan Andujar Oliver, who is now a referee expert for Marca, felt Messi was trying to indimate the match offcial.
"He should have been sent off, even though the ball didn't hit Hernandez Hernandez," he told Radio MARCA.
"With that action, he wanted to intimidate the referee and that deserves a straight red."
Ronald Koeman's charges find themselves in 12th position in LaLiga, eight points behind leaders Real Madrid.
