FC Barcelona transfer news: Antoine Griezmann flirts with future MLS move

Antoine Griezmann might only have joined FC Barcelona at the start of the season, but the France star is already thinking about his future and recently revealed where he plans to retire.

Griezmann signed from Atletico Madrid in July last year for a reported fee of €120 million (R2.2 billion), and has since scored 14 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions for the Catalan giants.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner already has his eyes on the future, however, and revealed in a recent interview that he plans to finish his career in the United States once he has achieved his goals in Spain.

"Winning LaLiga and the [UEFA] Champions League with Barca would be a dream, and also my objective," Griezmann told LA Times.

"After that, winning whatever comes. There's another World Cup so the World Cup in Qatar. And after that MLS.

"I don't know with which team, but I really want to play there. For me, it's an objective to end my career in the United States with the possibility of playing well and being a big part of the team and fighting for a title."
