Brazilian star Neymar Jr. has reportedly turned down an offer from one of Mamelodi Sundowns' opponents at the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
The global club tournament, featuring 32 teams, is set to kick off this Saturday and will run until July 13, 2025.

Masandawana have been drawn into Group F alongside German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund, South Korean side Ulsan HD FC, and Brazilian outfit Fluminense FC.
As clubs look to strengthen their squads ahead of the competition, Fluminense were reportedly keen to sign Neymar before the tournament begins.
Currently contracted to a Brazilian giants Santos FC, Neymar's deal with the club is set to expire at the end of this month and he is yet to sign a new contract.
According to Daily Sports, Neymar engaged in discussions with Fluminense in an attempt to reach an agreement as the team offered him a contract.

However, the 33-year-old star is said to have declined the offer, opting instead to use the Brazilian league’s off-season to focus on regaining full fitness.
Additionally, the report claims Neymar’s salary demands, estimated at around $170,000 (R3,060,000) per month, have deterred several potential suitors who are participating at the World Cup.
