Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has revealed what Premier League team he was once desperate to join.
The Poland international made the move to the Camp Nou from Bayern Munich ahead of the 2022/23 season. Since joining the LaLiga giants, the striker has continued his fine form in front of goal with 27 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.
Lewandowski has built himself a formidable reputation of being a prolific goalscorer from his time at Borussia Dortmund, which has resulted in some of the biggest clubs chasing the player's signature.

The 34-year-old has now revealed that, during his time at Dortmund, he was more than interested in joining Manchester United.
"I remember the moment exactly," Lewandowski revealed, per Sport Bild.
"We had a friendly with Dortmund in preparation, I think against Bochum.
"I was subbed at half-time. I looked at my mobile phone in the dressing room. There was a text message with the sender +44. Ferguson had tried to call me and then sent me a message. He wanted to talk to me. I was still in the dressing room, I took a shower and called him back, in a quiet corner.
"My English wasn't as good as it is today. He has a strong Scottish accent. I was so focused on understanding what he meant! Alex Ferguson tried to be considerate, spoke slowly.

"I was 22 years old, it was a special moment. I spoke to Aki Watzke and Jürgen Klopp in the camp. I wanted to go to Man United! But they said: 'No chance, Robert. We need you. You have to stay.'"
Lewandowski ended up joining Bayern in 2014 and made his mark as one of the deadliest finishers in football, scoring 344 goals in 375 matches for the club.
