Premier League: Which managers have won the most league titles in England?

Pep Guardiola has joined an exclusive list of managers after claiming his third Premier League crown with Manchester City.

Guardiola wrote his name into English football's history books on Tuesday after winning his third league crown with Manchester City, becoming just the 12th manager to win at least three titles in the country's top flight.

The former FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has now drawn level with long-time rival Jose Mourinho, legendary Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers coach Stan Cullis and former Liverpool great Bill Shankly, all of whom earned league honours on three occasions.

Sir Kenny Dalglish is one place ahead with four titles across his spells in charge of Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers, while Matt Busby, Herbert Chapman and Tom Watson all bagged a handful of trophies during their respective careers.

Former Reds boss and six-time winner Bob Paisley shares second place with "football's first manager" George Ramsay, although both legendary tacticians fall some way behind the competition's most successful manager.

That honour belongs to former Reds Devils coach Sir Alex Ferguson who collected more than twice as many league trophies as any other manager in the history of English top-flight football, winning 13 trophies following the start of the Premier League era.
