A Liverpool star was reportedly involved in a car accident a day before the Merseyside Derby.
Reds full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold as he narrowly avoided being crushed in his car by 40ft electricity pylon.
The Sun reported that the 25-year-old was out driving on a wet road when he was forced to swerve to avoid a power unit and collided with another vehicle.
It is believed it was a near-miss for the England star as the electrical pylon would have caused a lot of damage had it made contact with the player's Range Rover.
The report did add that Alexander-Arnold did avoid any injuries from the accident, which is good news ahead of the derby.
The England international is expected to involved in Jurgen Klopp's side when they take on their cross-town rivals Everton on Saturday afternoon.
It's been a slow season by Alexander-Arnold's usual standards, with the full-back registering just one assist from his first six Premier League matches this campaign.
