Each Premier League club's most valuable star

With the Premier League being home to some of the most high-profile footballers in the game, here are each English top-flight club's most valuable players, including a number of African stars!

According to a report compiled by LondonWorld, Manchester United's struggles on the pitch this season has seen their squad value dip from £835.43 million (R16 billion) at the beginning of the campaign to £649.13 million (R12.9 billion), with a number of the club's players having seen their market values decrease.

Perhaps surprisingly, though, it is Bruno Fernandes who is the most valuable player at Old Trafford today, with an estimated value in the region of £81 million (R1.6 billion).

In London, West Ham United have seen their squad value rise after their impressive journey in the UEFA Europa League and securing back-to-back top seven finishes in the league. Much-courted Declan Rice is the highest-valued player in David Moyes' side with an estimated market value of £67.5 million (R1.3 billion).

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, are safe from relegation and are just three points away from ninth position, with their team's market value reflecting the positive results Patrick Vieira's men have achieved in the 2021/22 campaign. Ivory Coast attacker Wilfred Zaha is their highest-value asset at £36 million (R719 million).

Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of clinching a spot in the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League campaign, but the topsy-turvy season they have had has seen their squad's market value decline from £633.6 million (R12.6 billion) in August 2021 to £528.53 million (R10.5 billion) today.

It is star striker Harry Kane who is the Lilywhites' highest-valued player with a £90 million (R1.7 billion) market value. In fact, he is the joint-most valuable in the EPL, alongside Liverpool and Egypt sensation Mohamed Salah, per LondonWorld.
