With many high-profile players joining new teams on deadline day, four African stars were officially snapped up by Premier League clubs.
The final day of the transfer window was an eventful one as the British transfer record was broken after Chelsea signed Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a record £106.8 million (R2.2 billion), with the Argentine penning a lengthy eight-and-a-half year deal with the Blues.

However, Fernandez was not the only player to be snapped up by a team in England as four top African prospects also put pen to paper on an EPL switch on Tuesday.
Southampton completed the double signing of Kamaldeen Sulemana and Paul Onuachu for a combined fee of more than £40.5 million (R862 million) on deadline day.
Ghana star Sulemana reportedly chose to join the Saints over Everton, who also had a bid accepted by Stade Rennais for the player.
Nigerian striker Onuachu made the move to his new club after a fine run of form that saw him become the top scorer to date in Belgium's Jupiler Pro League this season, with 16 strikes in 19 games for Genk.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, finalised the signing of Ivory Coast international Hamed Traore from Serie A side Sassuolo.
Traore joins on an initial loan deal with a mandatory purchase option, and will sign a five-year contract with the Cherries when the season ends.
