Disgraced ex-Spain women's manager Jorge Vilda has now landed a new job in Africa after winning the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has confirmed Vilda's appointment as head coach of their women's national team little more than a month after he was sacked by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

The Spaniard replaces Reinald Pedros, who guided Morocco to the World Cup's round of 16 in Australia and New Zealand in August.
"The Royal Moroccan Football Federation contracted the Spanish coach Mr Vilda to coach the women's national football team in the next stage," the Moroccan FA said in a statement.
The president of the organisation, Ahmed El Amraoui, added: "We are thrilled to welcome Jorge Vilda to the helm of the women's national football team.
"His remarkable track record, particularly the recent Women's World Cup victory, showcases his exceptional coaching capabilities. We believe he will be instrumental in helping our team reach new heights."
According to BBC Sport Africa, Vilda is currently being investigated as part of a criminal case against his close ally and former Royal Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales.
The former chief has been charged with sexual assault and coercion after he disgracefully kissed Spain national team star Jenni Hermoso on the lips during the champions ceremony at the World Cup.
With the incident having drawn significant backlash from the football fraternity and in the political sphere of Spain, Vilda is alleged to have put pressure on Hermoso, as well as her family and friends, to defend Rubiales' actions.
This allegation saw him being fired despite making history with the women's side, although the new Morocco boss has denied any involvement in the matter.
There were also reports that he grabbed one of his Spain staff member's breasts while celebrating the winning goal in that World Cup final, which only added to the scrutiny he and Rubiales were under at the time.

Vilda's first game in charge of his new team will be an Olympic Games qualifier later this month against Namibia.
