With the latter having been linked with an exit in the past two windows, a Saudi club is now reportedly pushing for his signature.

According to Africafoot, Saudi Pro League club Al Fayha SC have submitted a 2.3 billion FCFA (R68.2 million) offer to sign Dieng from Ahly.

The Mali international is in his fifth year in Egypt, with his contract with the Cairo outfit set to expire in June 2026, as per Transfermarkt.

The report claims that Ahly have previously turned down offers for the 26-year-old, with the Red Devils believed to have rejected an offer from Turkish giants Besiktas for him due to the proposal falling short of club's 5.2 billion FCFA (R154 million) valuation of the player at the time.

Dieng has registered seven goals and 11 assists in more than 200 appearances for the reigning African champions.

Moreover, the deep-lying playmaker has won an incredible 15 trophies with the club, including four CAF Champions League titles and two CAF Super Cups.

According to 365Scores, Ahly boss Marcel Koller has already given the green light to Dieng's departure, with the club's hierarchy expected to make a decision on the received offer in the near future.
