African football icon Mikel John Obi has heaped praise on a certain DStv Premiership star amid his performances at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Bafana Bafana and Nigeria are poised to set the stage alight when they face off in a greatly anticipated semi-final on Wednesday evening.

The two teams have been evenly matched in their past five meetings, with three of them ending in stalemates and the sides claiming one victory apiece.
Although Victor Osimhen's fitness concerns have dominated the headlines in recent days, it has been the goalkeepers who have grabbed the spotlight, with Nigeria's Stanley Nwabali having earned many admirers at the tournament so far.
The Chippa United star has kept an impressive four clean sheets in five matches at the AFCON to date, making him an understated hero in the Super Eagles team.
Former Super Eagles national team captain Mikel has now hailed the 27-year-old keeper for his displays at the competition so far.
"When you look at the whole team, everyone was absolutely superb, starting with the goalkeeper, which I had talked about before the tournament," the Chelsea legend said on his The Obi One Podcast.
"I said that one position that we must make sure to settle is that of goalkeeper and we managed to do it.
"He is based in Africa and he managed to be talked about in the tournament, he became one of the favourites of Nigerian fans and he achieved very good performances.
"Before scoring the goal against Angola, he made a massive stop. If the ball had entered, the game would have been different."
