The R1.8-million luxury bus Nyasha Mushekwi bought for former club CAPS United has arrived in South Africa for its branding.
The Warriors international, who currently plays for Zhejiang Greentown FC, bought the Zimbabwean side a luxury coach in China.
According to Zimbabwean media, the bus will be branded in South Africa before being delivered to the Green Machine.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns striker bought the bus for $120 000 to show appreciation to CAPS for the role they played in his football career, exactly 10 years after he left Zimbabwe for Sundowns before playing in Sweden, Belgium and China.
"It will be a stopover in South Africa, during its shipment home, for 10 days to get branded," Mushekwi told The Herald.
"That's where the guys who wrap my cars are, they are really good guys. We settled for the white colour to try and match one of the colours associated with the team.
"Of course there will be some touches of green, and all this will be done in South Africa, but the most important thing right now is that the assembling of the bus, as per our specifications, has now been completed."
In September, the 32-year-old reached the impressive milestone of 100 goals scored abroad since leaving CAPS United.
