Polokwane City to release Randy Ngobe and striker Muzikayifani Ngidi

Both Ngobe and Ngidi failed to break into City’s starting line up since the arrival of coach Luc Eymael, with the former managing just one substitute appearance while Ngidi has yet to play a minute in the league this season.

With Rise and Shine expected to announce the signing of former Orlando Pirates midfielder Tlou Segolela in the next few days, it seems a clearout of unwanted players will take place this month in order to make way for the new arrivals.

"Both Ngobe and Ngidi are not part of the coaches plans," a source tells snl24.com/kickoff. "They will be allowed to leave during the current transfer window period.”

City, who currently sit fifth in the Absa Premiership standings, return to league action against Maritzburg United on 8 February.
