Masibusane Zongo has signed for Botswana Premier League club Extension Gunners

Zongo, who last played for National First Division outfit Royal Eagles, has signed a deal with Extension Gunners.

snl24.com/kickoff reported last week that Gunners were interested in signing the skilful winger and he has now penned a two-year deal with the club.

Talks over a move were held in South Africa last Wednesday as Gunners expressed serious interest in getting the winger on board.

New Gunners chairman Tariq Babitseng is said to be a big admirer of Zongo and believes signing the player will bring supporters back to their stadium.

The mission for Gunners now is to ensure that they make Zongo focus solely on football, because his off-the-field behaviour has let him down many a time in his career.
