The Guinea-Bissau forward scored on his debut for the Egyptian side on Wednesday, having penned a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Alexandria-based club last week.
Silva's representative Godwin Emmanuel declined to discuss the financial terms of the deal.
"It's confidential. That doesn't happen in Africa," Emmanuel said.
"I can only confirm that the deal is done now.
"He will be wearing jersey number seven."
