Before kick-off in Sunday's Soweto derby clash, the Orlando Pirates players were seen warming up their new saucy limited-edition adidas t-shirts. Check it out!
What Happened?
Pirates are one of the leading local clubs when it comes to fashion with many of their previous shirts becoming best sellers and they did not disappoint when they showcased their new strip in their warm-up routine before their clash with their Soweto rivals.
Although they looked good off the pitch, it was not meant to be in their match, as the Buccaneers came up short against Kaizer Chiefs with a 4-3 penalty shootout defeat after a goalless 90 minutes.

The New T-Shirt?
The new shirt is a stylish collaboration with Adidas which includes a colourful design with multiple shapes and mesh panels that form part of the Sea Robbers' pride collection.
The new t-shirt has a big phrase in the middle with the words 'Love Unites' and on their official website, the shirt is called a 'Tiro Jsy Love Trupnk'. The pride collection extends to jackets as well consisting of Amabhakabhaka away and home kit colours meshed with the new design.
Here's what Pirates had to say about the kit on their official website, "From self-love to friendship to solidarity. Whatever the form, love unites. Spread the message in this adidas football jersey."
