The fresh new design has a neon green colourway with patterned black sleeves which add an extra layer of detail, and it was modelled by some of City's top stars including Terrence Mashego and Fagrie Lakay.

The jersey is also said to be crafted with the best in Umbro's modern kit technology and has a breathable back mesh, embroidered club logo, and neck detailing.

Did you know?

Umbro was founded in Manchester in 1920, thus making the British brand one of the oldest sportswear manufacturers that are still around today.

They changed their name in 1924 from "Humphrey Brothers" to "Umbro", which is a combines that's "um" from "Humphrey" and the "bro" from brothers.

In 2007, the brand was bought by Nike, however, it was later sold in 2012 to Iconix Brand Group, an American apparel company that also owns names like Ed Hardy and Lee Cooper.

Today, Umbro is also the kit sponsor for fellow DStv Premiership side Moroka Swallows, as well as African giants Al Ahly, in addition to English Premier League club West Ham United.
