Security officer resigns to join Rulani in Morocco

Mamelodi Sundowns have lost the services of one of their security officers Collen Baloyi, who has resigned from the club to join coach Rulani Mokwena at Wydad Casablanca.

Baloyi joins several officials who have resigned from Sundowns following Mokwena's departure before the start of the current season.

Physical trainer Mahlangu and coach Sinethemba Badela left The Brazilians to team up with Mokwena in Morocco.

Former Sundowns assistant coach Michael Loftman has since joined Hout Bay United in the Western Cape ABC Motsepe League.

"The guy who was always escorting Rulani Mokwena during games has also resigned from Mamelodi Sundowns. He is now in Morocco and performing the same duties with the coach. I think this is a good step for Collen after starting to work as a security officer at the gate in Chloorkop," said a source.

Meanwhile, the Tshwane giants have put the status of their ABC Motsepe League side, M-Tigers, up for sale.

According to a source at the club, the Chloorkop-based side have put a price tag of R650 000 for the status in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League.

"Sundowns' status in the ABC Motsepe League is on sale. The club is ready to listen to any offer of no less than R600 000. Few teams have shown interest but nothing concrete so far. I believe TUT is also interested in buying the status," the source revealed.

Masandawana missed a chance to play in the MTN8 final for the 2024/25 season after losing 2-0 on aggregate to Stellenbosch FC in the semi-finals.
