Lesotho are set to announce former Amajita coach Thabo Senong as the new coach of their national team after reaching a contract agreement on Monday.
snl24.com/kickoff revealed last week that Senong was on his way to Maseru to take up a new role after previously serving as head coach of South Africa's national under-20 team Amajita. His contract was not renewed by SAFA after the World Cup a few months ago.
According to a source close to Senong, both the coach and the football association of Lesotho have reached an agreement and his announcement will be made soon.
"Senong made his presentation on Monday," says the source.
"Both parties are happy with the new contract drafted and Senong is expected to be announced as new coach for the Lesotho national team on Wednesday."
