SAFA and the SABC have smoked a peace pipe with association president Danny Jordaan having confirmed that a new deal is now being finalised.
The SA Football Association and the SA Broadcasting Corporation have come to blows in recent times over a "discourteous offer" for the rights to Bafana Bafana's matches on home soil.

Their initial agreement between the two parties ended last year, with a dispute over two matches owed to the SABC having caused a public spat upon negotiations of a new deal.
However, Jordaan has since revealed that the impasse is set to come to an end, with Bafana's upcoming Nelson Mandela Challenge fixture against Mali in Port Elizabeth set to be aired live on the public broadcaster on Sunday afternoon.
"The Nelson Mandela Challenge is going to be on the SABC, the match will be televised, and we are now very close to signing an agreement with the SABC," confirmed Jordaan.
"I think that will bring an end to the tug of war and we hope they will make the progress we all hope for. It's an important institution in our society, it's a public broadcaster and a free-to-air broadcaster, and it's an important partner of football in this country.
"You've seen some of the National Women's League matches on the SABC, and now Bafana will be back there, and I think that will help SAFA as well in terms of the difficult period we had with no broadcast of our matches."

Asked whether financially, the public broadcaster have substantially increased their offer or whether SAFA were taking a price cut, Jordaan responded: "Well, I think the offer that the SABC put in [R10-million] and we rejected, we are no longer in that place, we are in a far better place.
"Of course, you saw the government has given the SABC a R2.1-billion injection, and I think that will also help them.
"For us, they are an important partner – yes, broadcast revenue is important for every organisation, so we had to take our time to finding a solution, and we are now very close to concluding that."
