World Cup semi-final Brazil vs Germany

FULL TIME: Brazil (Oscar 90) 1-7 (Muller 11, Klose 23, Kroos 24, 26, Khedira 29, Schurrle 69, 79) Germany.

90 - BRAZIL GOAL! Oscar beats Neuer from close range! Moments before Ozil failed to score from a one-on-one situation as he put his effort narrowly wide. Brazil 1-7 Germany. There will be two minutes of added time.

89 - Oscar drills a shot across the face of goal on the angle.

86 - The German fans are in full voice here, they really couldn't have asked for more.

76 - Germany sub: Draxler replaces Khedira.

68 - Brazil booking: Dante is cautioned for a bad tackle on Muller.

67 - Cesar races off his line and just beats Schweinsteiger to the ball.

65 - Bernard does well to chase down a ball and hook in a useful cross but there is no teammate at hand to capitalise.

62 - Maicon blatantly dives in the box, under a challenge from Boateng, to try and win a penalty but is unsuccessful. Boateng, naturally, is not too impressed with the fullback.

61 - Muller triggers a fine stop from Cesar with a curling effort.

60 - At the other end, Muller wastes a great chance to complete a brace as he allows Cesar to rob him of possession.

59 - Neuer makes another stop, this time to deny the under-fire Fred.

58 - Germany sub: Schurrle replaces Klose.

57- Neuer sprints off his line to beat Ramires to the ball and takes a slight knock in the process. Nothing malicious there.

53 - Neuer is forced into a sharp double save to foil Paulinho from inside the area! Brazil are opening up Germany at will here, but Neuer is proving his worth as one of the world's top glovemen. Great start to the second stanza by Luiz Felipe Scolari's wounded charges.

52 - Oscar shoots at straight at Neuer inside the box, with the keeper saving with his legs! The Chelsea man really should have buried that.

50 - Neuer cuts out a Ramires cross intended for Oscar. Crucial interception that by the impressive German goalkeeper.

49 - Fred goes down in the box after tangling with Mertesacker looking for a penalty, but the ref correctly waves on.

HALF-TIME: Brazil 0-5 (Muller 11, Klose 23, Kroos 24, 26, Khedira 29) Germany.

45 - There will be one minute of added time.

41 - Oscar has a shot blocked in the area by two German defenders.

40 - Lahm does well to arrest a rare foray from the Brazilians in the shape of Bernard.

35 - Germany are still pressing forward with intent here, this contest could yet reap further embarassment on the tournament hosts.

23 - GERMANY GOAL! An unmarked Kroos rifles the ball home just inside the area on his 50th international outing!

22 - GERMANY GOAL! Klose fires home for his 16th ever goal at the competition to beat Ronaldo's mark and set a new record!

21 - Klose squeezes a weak shot on target which is easily gathered by Cesar. The 36-year-old forward did get slightly caught there as he swung his leg.

20 - Klose is crowded out by four Brazilian defenders as he tries to find space on the edge of the area.

18 - Boateng thought Marcelo was looking for a penalty there leading to a minor scuffle, with Hulk also getting involved. The ref Rodriguez though manages to restore calm relatively quickly.

17 - Lahm slides in to deny Marcelo a chance to pull the trigger in the area. Great challenge from the German skipper.

16 - The overlapping Maicon powers down the right but Hummels stays close to the fullback and deals with the danger.

13 - Brazil break at pace through Luiz and Hulk, but the latter's ball into the box from the left fails to find a teammate.

11 - GERMANY GOAL! Muller taps in a Kroos corner from close range for his fifth goal of the tournament - matching his scoring efforts at SA 2010! Where was the marking there?

10 - Muller escapes a caution for blatantly holding back Marcelo. He will be on thin ice going forward, one would think.

9 - Fred tries to find Oscar with a deft touch around the edge of the area but the industrious Schweinsteiger is alert to the danger and cleans up nicely.

8 - Khedira has a shot inadvertently blocked in the box by his teammate Kroos after Ozil laid the ball off.

6 - Germany are struggling to get their studs on the ball, although both sides are guilty of relinquishing possession in somewhat frenetic fashion.

4 - Neuer stretches to intercept a left-wing cross by Hulk intended for Bernard. Luiz freed Hulk down the flank with a fantastic ball from deep.

3 - Brazil seeing more of the ball early on as left-back Marcelo pulls a shot across the face of goal from range.

2 - Corner from Oscar but Germany's defence head clear.

1 - Germany get us underway!

Referee Marco Rodriguez from Mexico will officiate proceedings.

The anthems have been done and dusted as the players settle into formation.

The Samba Boys have made three team changes since their last-eight win over Colombia, with diminutive playmaker Bernard replacing injured talisman Neymar, Bayern Munich centre-back Dante comes in for suspended skipper Thiago Silva, while Luiz Gustavo gets the nod after serving a ban ahead of fellow midfielder Paulinho.

Germany have named the same starting XI that edged France in the previous round, with Miroslav Klose getting another chance to set the record for most goals scored at FIFA's flagship event. The veteran forward is tied on 15 strikes with retired Brazilian legend Ronaldo.

The teams have been announced:

Brazil: Cesar, Luiz, Fernandinho, Marcelo, Hulk, Fred, Oscar, Dante, Gustavo, Bernard, Maicon.

Germany: Neuer, Hoewedes, Hummels, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Klose, Muller, Lahm, Kroos, Boateng.
