SAFPU has warned club owner Lawrence Mulaudzi and new buyer Ditonkana Abram Sello to honour the outstanding salary payments before a reported R40-million sale of TTM goes through.
Mulaudzi met with TTM players in Louis Trichardt in Limpopo on Monday where he announced that the club has been sold to Sello, pending PSL approval.
Sello is a Sekhukhune-born businessman and pharmacist who owns a team called Olezar in the ABC Motsepe League in Limpopo.
Joel Masutha's side is now preparing to relocate from Louis Trichardt to Polokwane following the latest developments communicated at the emergency meeting.
Players Union deputy general secretary Calvin Motloung has confirmed that they will be travelling to Limpopo again today for a meeting with the TTM players and also to seek an audience with both Mulaudzi and Sello.
"The players have confided having had a meeting with Lawrence Mulaudzi where they were told that the team has been sold to one Dr Sello," Motloung tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We are going to Limpopo today to meet the players and the management to make sure that the issues of outstanding payments are taken care of before the deal is approved.
"We were given assurances last week that Lawrence Mulaudzi was going to pay all the outstanding payments of salaries to players this Thursday.
"We don't want to find a situation where the deal is approved without those outstanding payments of salaries settled."
