As revealed by chairman Abram Sello after taking over from previous owner Masala Mulaudzi, the Nedbank Cup finalists will be changing their name at the end of the season and might even be relocated.
According to the club's media liaison officer Rufus Matsema, there are three names that they might already have short-listed but have yet to decide how they will reach the final verdict.
"Not yet, it's still something that we are gonna be deciding on, but not at the moment," Matsema tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We still have three names, and we're trying to understand how best we can deal with this because we were thinking on all the names that we have.
"We can throw that to the supporters to choose which name would be best suited for the team, so that's one of the options we are thinking of.
"Remember, if we give it to the supporters, in a way they can have that sense of ownership. It's not like we are saying to them, name the team.
"We could give them like three or four names and do it like always in a voting system, choose the name that is best suited, and it becomes like an easy thing.
"You give them the names that you know have a sentimental value or meaning to you, so that's one thing that makes it easy, but at the moment we haven't decided which method we are going to use."
