Ndoro was ordered to stop playing by a Safa arbitration following the Premier Soccer League’s appeal against its own Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC).
Ajax and Ndoro, however, appealed the decision in the High Court in Johannesburg, but it was dismissed on Tuesday and he will continue watching his club’s matches from the sidelines.
Ndoro has played for Orlando Pirates, Saudi Arabian club Al Faisaly and Ajax Cape Town this season, contravening FIFA's Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. The striker left Al Faisaly after going some months without a salary.
In the Zimbabwean striker’s absence, Ajax were beaten 2-1 by AmaZulu at King Zwelithini Stadium last night.
“It has affected me. One day they say I can use my strongest weapon and the other day I cannot use my strongest weapon,” Ertugral said.
“Can you imagine if Tendai was on the field tonight, we probably could’ve scored. These elements for us are not easy, but in the end the player plays in the league here, goes to overseas and overseas he’s not being paid and then comes back to the league again...there’s an overlapping season gap here that says very clear.
“But it should’ve been interpreted right because he wasn’t paid, that is also another issue. FIFA actually also protects players [on such issues].
“The player had not been paid and now he must sit six months out? It doesn’t make sense to me. This rule should say: under one roof, under one federation, three clubs it’s not possible, it makes everything easier.”
In January 2015, now PSG midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa was not allowed to play for French Ligue 1 side Nice after FIFA ruled that a Newcastle United under-21 game he played in counted as a competitive match. After playing in the under-21 game in 2014/15, Ben Arfa was loaned out to Hull City in the same season, but his time there was cut short after failing out of favor with manager Steve Bruce.
Newcastle then terminated the player's contract before he went onto sign for Nice, but FIFA intervened and said he can’t play because he had already played for two clubs in one season.
