Gamildien was handed a two-match suspension by the club after he was found guilty of misconduct during the league match against Chippa United a few weeks ago.
The player is set to return for their next match but was a notable absentee from the pitch when his side drew 1-1 with Chiefs at FNB Stadium.
Gamaldien is believed to be on his way to Naturena next season.
Swallows CEO Sipho Xulu was asked if Gamaldien missing the Amakhosi match had anything to do with his reported move to Chiefs.
"When the coach put together his line-up he decided he was not on form," Xulu tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"There's nothing like that [about Chiefs]. The player belongs to Swallows, it has nothing to do with Chiefs. The reason the player is not playing is because of reasons that are within Swallows. It has nothing to do with Chiefs.
"The player is not playing due to internal issues, of which had been sorted out. It depends on whether the coach selects him. We cannot prescribe to the coach on who he should select or not select.
"Chiefs have nothing to do with any of our players... until such time we announce there's something happening, the player will remain a Swallows player. There's nothing even to write about concerning Chiefs and Gamaldien."
