Former SAFPU president Simba Marumo has given his thoughts on the firing of coaches in the Absa Premiership.
Early this week, three PSL coaches lost their jobs in the space of two days, not to mention even more changes in the NFD.
Chippa United fired Clinton Larsen, Cavin Johnson left AmaZulu and Lionel Soccoia was sacked at Black Leopards.

Ex-Mamelodi Sundowns man Marumo has defended clubs for making changes early in the season.
"It's a tough one my brother. In my view, as much as football is not only purely about business, there are certain times when results are not happening and you need to switch to business mode, where it's like 'guys things are not happening and we are worried'," he said.
"You don't want to be worried in game 15, because after actually round 10, teams who are bottom of the log often get relegated, no matter how good you are because there's also a physiological factor. If you are sitting in 15th position 10 points behind other teams, it feels like it's impossible [to survive]."

Simba believes if there is a time to make changes, early in the season is perfect so that teams have time to recover and sort things out before it's too late.
"Now players starts having doubts about whether they can do it or not, every game starts to become impossible, so it's actually the right time to make changes if you feel like you are already in trouble as a club," he explained.
"So I can't fault them for making changes and it's not too early to make changes because after five games if you feel drastically that 'we must make changes', this is the right time."
