Tshobeni was promoted to the Buccaneers senior team during the 2020/21 season after an outstanding MultiChoice Diski Challenge campaign.
The 19-year-old midfielder then made his debut for the Sea Robbers first-team against Maritzburg United in January, winning glowing reviews from former head coach, Josef Zinnbauer.
The Cape Town-born player has since been joined by Mamelodi Sundowns left-back, Malebogo Modise in Tshwane as the Hammerboyz push for promotion to the top-flight.
Both youngsters could potentially make their debut for JDR Stars when they host TTM in Soshanguve on September 11.
