Bidvest Wits have recalled striker Mxolisi Macuphu while midfielder Phumlani Ntshangase is set to join Maritzburg United on loan.
Macuphu and Ntshangase spent last season on loan to SuperSport United where the former enjoyed a good time in front of goal.
Ntshangase has been touted as a solid replacement for Fortune Makaringe at Maritzburg after the latter left the club together with Siphesihle Ndlovu to join Orlando Pirates.
Wits CEO Jose Ferreira has confirmed that Ntshangase could be headed to his home province to join the Team of Choice.
"Macuphu is returning from SuperSport [United]," Ferreira tells snl24.com/kickoff. "We are negotiating Ntshangase's loan to Maritzburg United."
Wits, who are set to return for pre-season on Saturday, are set to unveil an unnamed Togolese striker.
