Not all Bidvest Wits players will be signed, says Raymond Seneo

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have bought Wits' place in the top-flight for next season, pending PSL approval, which means some of the players will be out of jobs.

Some of Wits' top players have already secured clubs for next season but there are many players in Gavin Hunt's squad that will need to renegotiate with the new management or find employment elsewhere.

In the current econmic climate, Seneo feels several promising careers are being crushed by the weight of commerce running local football clubs.

"For me it's disappointing because players need to be prepared," Seneo tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"We have always been told that players must prepare for life after football, but how do you do that when club owners just sell clubs anytime without telling players?

"Some of these players might not even get teams, not everyone will be signed, and my brother we are talking about breadwinners here. This is just proof that our football still needs to do more."

Seneo went on to say the only safe teams in the PSL are Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.

"I also feel for the supporters," he adds. "They were also not considered and big man, to tell you the truth, I feel the only teams that are safe from being sold are the bigger teams.

"I just wish we can reach a stage where all teams are safe from being sold, for the sake of our players."
