Mxolisi Macuphu: TTM Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila keen to keep Bidvest Wits striker

Wits have been sold to new owners in Limpopo and a number of players are set to leave the club at the end of the season.

Clever Boys captain Thulani Hlatswayo and winger Deon Hotto are set to join Orlando Pirates while Ricardo Goss is set to join Mamelodi Sundowns. Midfielder Cole Alexander has also been linked with a return to SuperSport United.

Macuphu's manager Palesa Mkhize has confirmed that his client will wait until the end of the season to decide.

"We are not in a rush. Let's give the club a chance and respect to finish the season. We will then sit down and discuss his future," says Mkhize.

snl24.com/kickoff understands that TTM, who bought the status of Wits, are very keen to keep Macuphu at the club next season.

According to a source close to the Limpopo-based club, they are expected to offer Macuphu and a few other players at Wits new and improved contracts.
