Morena Ramoreboli resigns at Royal Eagles along with Richard Makhoba

Things are unravelling quickly at Royal Eagles after newly appointed coach Morena Ramoreboli resigned from the team.

Ramoreboli has joined general manager Richard Makhoba, who also tendered his resignation letter to Eagles last week.

The KwaZulu-Natal side started their GladAfrica Championship season later due to a family dispute over the ownership of the club.

Both chairperson Shauwn Mpisane and her son Andile resigned from Eagles to join Real Kings, together with coach Joel Masutha.

According to a source close to Eagles, the team doctor has also followed up and resigned from the club, which is now under the ownership of Sbu Mpisane.

"The coach has resigned. The assistant coach is now in charge of the club. The general manager and the team doctor have also gone," the source reveals to snl24.com/kickoff.

Makhoba also confirms that he has left Royal Eagles.

"There was nothing wrong but I left the club due to personal problems," he explains.

Eagles' problems extend to the field of play too with the team sitting bottom of the NFD log, but they have played fewer matches than the teams above them.
